Question by mantha1500: Why hasn't my doctor cut me and my husband off from having sex?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant I'll be 8 months this friday and the doctor still hasn't told me nad my husband to restrain from having sex. Did anyone's doctor give them a cut-off date or just let you continue up until your due date?

as long as you arent having any complications, you can have sex up until you go into labor. some doctors even recommend sex as a way to bring on labor if you are past your due date....its fine, keep having sex.
